Waking up late skipping our plan to Tanjung Aru Beach to watch sunrise since we already watched sunset the day before. Slowly prepared ourselves, enjoying breakfast in the hotel of sausage, scrambled egg, toast and coffee or tea. And then spent some more time taking OOTD (the stairs is beautiful).
We later check out the Atkinson Clock Tower we miss out yesterday, it actually located just beside the Signal Hill Observatory Tower. A quick photo shoot of it and we continue to our next destination.
Check in Jesselton Point Waterfront for some great photo, didn't manage to go for island hopping this time, probably next time (will be coming back definitely).
Walk along the shop houses and more shopping. Wanted to try out the Kedai Kopi Yuit Cheong satay missed out yesterday but was told that it starts selling only at 2pm. So instead of this, we try out the Kedai Kopi Yee Fung which is also quite famous around the internet selling curry laksa noodles and claypot chicken rice. Apart from this 2 famous dishes, we ordered also the double teh tarik and cincau milk. Bills come with a total of RM27 (3 mains and 2 drinks). They served fast, as in get you into the seat, take your order and food reach in front of you right after. Noodles are ready before hand, they just blanch it a few times and add in the soup so the whole process had no delay. But for chicken rice, after adding all the ingredient into the claypot, it needs to bring it to boil before ready to serve so it serves slower than the noodles. Food tasted a little-diluted for me.
Yee Fung Laksa RM7 |
Claypot Chicken Rice RM7.50 |
Teh Maderas Ping RM2.50 |
Cincau milk RM3 |
Next, we went back to this Keng Wan Hing to buy some snacks to eat on the flight such as cha shao bao, curry chicken puff, curry beef puff and lao po biscuit, each of them cost RM1.40. This shop sells really good snack, it's a must try here. I actually take away the biscuit here before I head to Kundasang for next day breakfast and the polo bread (pineapple) still taste so so good after the second day. One day I would like to just sit in and enjoy the bread and biscuit probably with a cup of coffee would be life :)
Dad and mum when shopping again and we spent some time taking more OOTD photos.
Before lunch, we went to the IMAGO shopping mall to shop a little while spending some time in air conditional area and to digest a bit more so that the stomach has space for lunch before heading to the airport to wait for our flight. This shopping mall is still quite new and great for shopping, you get to find most of the brand here.
Last stop, Kedai Kopi Jia Siang for their pork noodles (sheng rou mian). I felt this is quite overrated and the price is actually expensive (but still cheaper compared to our first meal in Kuo Man restaurant where selected beef noodles are good only). These bills come with a total of RM43.50 without drinks. We ordered 2 plain noodles and 2 noodles with shredded pork, all come with a bowl of pork soup with a mixture of pork balls, meat, and intestine, and a bowl of yam rice.
Noodles with shredded pork RM9.50 |
Complimentary pork soup |
Noodles RM7.50 |
And off I go. Will definitely come back another day for more fun! I love both beach and forest :)
PS: my hair is much longer now though still short.
