I had written up two posts for Langkawi on Skybridge and Island hopping, you can click in and view. This post is to sum up my whole travelling journey in Langkawi with few other places I visited. Too much of procrastinate and I might had forgotten the details about every particular, hope some details I wrote is still useful for your little guide to Langkawi!
The view when I'm sitting on the plane, few minutes before it landed. I'm very lucky to get the window seat. The plane fly just above the fluffy cloud.
Our first stop, the Eagle Square. After we arrived, we immediately contact our car rental to collect car and drive off to jetty to fetch our friend. Owh, they do distribute free map both at the airport and jetty, do just take one from them as extra guidance even though you had already prepared earlier, as it's FREE! Just an extra secure and probably few more time to waste?
Eagle Square is probably just a big eagle statue, for your information a very famous ones where everyone take a photo with it and this shown that you had already been to Langkawi. This big statue is located at Dataran Lang near the jetty. You probably go there so you can book your tour for island hoping.
Next, the Pantai Tengah. This beach is smaller and less packed compared to Pantai Cenang the very tourist attraction place. The top activity here as you can see is the parachute. It usually cost RM120 per round but when you visit during off season we get a discount up to 50% which is just RM60. It will be even fun if it's on a windy day. Detail photo below :)
After that, we went to the Seven Well, which is located a few kilometers away from Skybridge. This is a place where you can see waterfall and seven well means there's seven natural holes forming which look like a well. This place involve a lot of climbing, not exactly hiking. There's like hundreds to thousands of stair to climb to reach the end. There's two part of it which is the middle part where you can see the waterfall and the upper part where you are on where the water falls and is where the seven well located.
We first climb all the way to the top. Few of my friends nearly gave up as it's a tiring journey. Hence, I had a lot of selfie on the way with the trees, stairs and probably the sky.
We settled our dinner at the 7roof restaurant which is found at the tripadvisor. But, this totally disappoint us. Not to say the food is small in portion but the price is extremely expensive. We weren't fed full and instead drinking plain water more. After this dinner, we were broke and we settled our meal with minimum budget. We discussed that we will have seafood back when we reach our hometown, Boston which is so much cheaper, big in portion and delicious.
Our second day was about Island hoping and walking along Cenang street. Here's where we settled for our dinner, a truck serving sandwich. We opted their cheapest choice which is sandwich cheese with chips that cost us RM7 per set. This taste good with their sweet and sour sauce and chips with chili flakes.
While this is our snack after Island hoping at the K-chicken which is recommended by the promoter at Teow Soon Huat. This restaurant is located at the top of the mall beside their food court. It's operated by a young Korean guy. The chicken fried is fresh as he'll restock it from the market every morning. We bought all the three types of chicken sold in the restaurant which is original, honey sauce garlic and sweet chili chicken. Price is RM3 for per piece of chicken. You might need to wait for some time as the owner will only cook after he received order not like how other fast food restaurant operate.
This is how we spent our night with few bottles of beer of variety brand and taste, we even bought the mocha beer which is coffee with beer aroma (I don't even know how to describe it in a proper way). I favor Savanna dark the most which taste like red wine but with gas.
Our last stop being the Cenang beach, an hour before departing to the airport. It's a little too windy and tiny rain on the first two days of our trip hence we are extremely excited when we see the sun and we drive straight to the beach even with low petrol. Everything on the beach cost even the beach chair, you better not sit on it before paying. Apart from that, there's a lot of water activities going on, price can be bargain.
Bought these chocolate mostly from Teow Soon Huat as after comparing a few shop lots. They sell the cheapest chocolate (but some places do provide offer for certain chocolate and hence cheaper) and they have a lot variety for you to choose. Sad as they no longer selling the elephant chocolate where mummy request. Anyway, I got to buy my favorite ritter sport in a whole load of amount. Spent approximate RM200 for all the chocolate below.
Overall spent around RM700 throughout this 3 days 2 nights trip. Below is the breakdown cost:

Accomodation: RM50

Car rental: RM85
Avanza RM90/day, Saman RM40, Coupon, Petrol
