Aka-Raka @ Publika

Visited this korean restaurant before the Joharians headed home after their internship. We found this restaurant through Ensogo and the deal is pretty attractive by buying RM50 cash voucher for only RM29.

The design is pretty simple with small rounded table and a bin design chair where you get to keep your bag inside the chair by lifting the lid. There's also a small salad bar at the corner where you get to fill up a few side dish such as dumpling, sushi, tofu, meat ball, kimchi, soup, vegetable and etc with the purchase of grilled set meal. RM10 will be charge for wastage. The kimchi is good!

We ordered a series of pork belly, the normal ones and marinated ones. I prefer the ordinary ones still but some prefer the one marinated with bulgogi sauce. They are few more choices like pork shoulder, skirt meat, pork cheek meat and pork rib. They also do serve grilled beef.
Grilled pork belly marinated in bulgogi sauce (Bulgogi Samgyeopsal) RM30
Grilled pork belly (Saeng Samgyeopsal) RM25 (top) & Grilled pork belly marinated in wine (Wine Samgyeopsal) RM30 (bottom)

We ordered also two different flavor soup to eat with the steamed rice (gonggibap) which cost RM5 each. I prefer the first one too. As the second ones reach, I'm already in the stomach bloated condition. We bought too much coupon and hence ordered a lot. They also serve soybean paste stew which is the least spicy ones compared to our order.
Kimchi Stew (Kimchijjigyae) RM20
Spicy soft tofu stew (Sundubu Jjigae) RM20

Their kimchi pancake is nice! You should really try these. It's a bit spicy and a little sour, and it's not too soft with a little crunchiness. It's same like the kimchi that serve as the side dish, not too spicy but with a little sourish. I would love to try their seafood pancake which is another option for pancake.
Kimchi pancake (Kimchi Jeon) RM20
They have also the stir griddle selection which is normally come in portion of people selection from 1-2 person, 2-3person, 3-4 person and 4-5 person. Our 1-2 person come in generous amount of topkki but overall this dish is too watery. I would love to try their spicy grilled chicken which the photo from their menu look pretty nice.
Rice cakes in hot sauce (Jeukseok Topkki) RM25 (1-2 person)

They overall serve nice food with generous portion and with the additional of side dish choices is too great for value of money. And with the cash voucher I bought from Ensogo, I spent only little amount of money for all the food above. They do offer mini lunch buffet. Do try out their food!
