Having a long semester break while not wanting to just do nothing at home, I decided to just walk around somewhere near alone. Somewhere that open my eye or just plainly walking and brain squeezing while exercising at the same time. Okay, I was kind of greedy to have all this at one. So here is a few pictures at both island, taken it while I pass by. By the way, I really love heritage thingy so you can see it's mainly small street and house building on top of the sea, and etc. People here travel by either walking or cycling
The only picture with crab.
The temple. I spent most of my time at the temple reading novel. It's a small island and there's not much place to visit and in additional it's an off peak so there's not much tourist and lots of stall are not open.
That's the book I'm currently reading. And a photo of me sitting at the shed (pondok) killing time. And eventually dose off on the table.
Note that this is my favorite. It's an old saloon with barber and old man. The dim light and the whole equipment used, so nostalgic okay.
My brunch. The famous Chinese nasi lemak that sells at RM2 per pack. This is real nice and absolutely worth the price. It contain prawns, anchovies, egg, sambal chili powder and sweet & spicy cabbage or onion. Apparently, I don't really know what's the whole thing in it, but it's definitely different and taste nice. Do try out if you somehow hop in there.
Sky getting darker and rain heavily after awhile. Waited for approximately an hour for the rain to stop and off I go hoping to another island named Sungai Lima. This island is much more smaller if compare to Pulau Ketam. Not much activities as it's not a tourist hot spot. But apparently they have a few murals that might attracts you scatter around the island. Heard that it's painted by 3 Malaysian artist. I get to captured a few, you can discover more if you walk more :P Oh, not to miss out this island is famous with their dry prawn. Yes, you can smell it once you reach the island!
I always have the habit to snap photo with shoe and the ground. It's somehow symbolizes the path you walk.
So, this is on the bridge.
This is me attempt to sit on the wooden bridge but in a second thought walk back to the semen road. When you are alone, you don't have extra photographer to snap those poster photo. So, we shall just skip that part and continue walking, haha!
Walking on semen road built above the sea under the hot sun. I wonder how strong it is to walk on a road like this.
The orange wood. People in the island live a happy life. They are so close to one another, house hopping and sparing time with the neighbor is something they do everyday. Kids studying in small class, being friend to everyone, studying and gathering for an activity playing basketball after school. Such life is something I once thought about. Everyone here have different job and responsibility, and together they sustain their life in the island.
