Guava Farm

Every time I visit Sekinchan, my aunt will surely want me to contact this guava uncle for his guava. His guava taste really nice, crunchy yet sweet. My aunt who doesn't eat guava once tried his guava felt in love with guava (but only from this uncle's farm).

PS: His farm is a private farm, somewhere near the paddy farm. We always need to meet him at his house and he will lead us to his farm. You can contact him by phone, 0166689382 (but please don't disturb him), he is a very nice uncle. Anyway you can order the quantity you want through phone if you think the weather is too hot you don't want to stand under the sun. Cause this trip might be burning your skin, I apply some quantity of lotion right after cold bath, haha!

Aunt love to visit his farm thereby I'm here again to take a few shot of photo.

Free fresh guava to taste!

Ending the post with a shadow of me, the weather is really killing me, umbrella is necessary.

Fishing village, Sekinchan

Hi, here I am again at Sekinchan! This place is really attractive with their cheap and fresh seafood urging me to come back another time. This time following my relative for seafood hunting! It's kind of chinese new year preparation.

We depart before the break of dawn as we afraid that the seafood sell fast and not attaining our aim on this road trip. Hence we reach early before all the fishing boat lay out their harvest of the day. It's a long wait time where we head to settle our brunch (seafood!) before we continue our purchase at this fishery.

Here's the seafood product they are selling, so so fresh! The price is pretty reasonable as well compare to what my dad bought from somewhere else.

This is what they do when they first received a whole full basket from the ship. They will pour out all the fish and then classified it accordingly to the type, size and shape to different basket. What happen later is the war where people will all rush to grab the fish they opt to buy. People are just being kiasu.

This is what we love the most, their sotong! I just realize there's 3 types of sotong and each different from their level of cholesterol. Loving their squid reason being it's different from the ones we had in the restaurant. Still remember every time if it's about squid, it's always deep fried squid with chili sauce, very much kiddo food. But every order of squid here we opt for the simplest cook to remain their juiciness and the resilience, the fresh is so thick you can munch on it. So so good that you need to order a plate if you pay a visit here!

More fish to come from different boat!

This place is famous with shark! You can try their shark dishes, not my liking though.

Apart from fresh seafood, they sell also self made fishball without preservatives that you need to consume it within 3 days. Some dried product and frozen product such as scallop, mantis shrimp, etc.

And here's what we bought, actually just part of it. They just couldn't stop buying :P

Here's how it look like, I just simply take a few shot.

No worries on the packing and the product spoiling on the journey traveling back. Just bring your ice box and they will help with the packing and arranging of product and ice in it.

Guys, enjoy chinese new year shopping, it's 2 more weeks more for angpau and new clothes! Of course not to forget meeting up with long no meet relatives and friends and the non stop chit chatting :)

Life

I love how Gary describe life through this song although it's an inspiration from Misaeng but this can be closely related to reality life as well. The title of this song, Lonely Night in English subtitle when you direct translate it from Korean title it should be Another Day which had slight different in meaning on the word. I prefer the second ones (Another Day) describing how work repeat everyday, the same routine, the same cycle, boring yet sticking on it for an earning. Look pathetic but somehow you will find joy in it I guess, couldn't comment much on it, still studying. I love the lyrics, the rhythm, the beat, and the flow of this song. I move my head and shake when this music is played. Just expressing.

Optimistic

It's insane to work out a post tonight as there's a paper tomorrow but to share positive vibes why not.

Been looking for breakfast this morning, not sure why but I'm so so hungry after an hour of consuming a cup of milk oats with cheese ham bun. So I went out of my room, walk down the stairs and went up the stairs again to my hostel's cafeteria finding the convenient shop is not open yet. So I walk further down to another hostel's cafeteria and see hope. There's two shop lots that actually operating, thanks god. So I walked to their shelves and found out that their bread expiry date is actually near and I was wondering why not I bought that loaf of bread yesterday where I bought my bun and now I won't be stuck here halfway. So I actually went back to my room empty handed with empty stomach and decided on a cup of hot green tea in my room. After another hour, my stomach is started screaming on the top of my lungs (a little exaggerate, but I'm really hungry at that moment and it's around 10.30am!) At that moment, I actually had another cup of tea and found that's it really not working and so only I gave up on tea and head back to my hostel's cafeteria to see if there's any food, economy rice, chicken rice, anything will do to fill up my tummy. Walking up to find out chicken rice stall is still not operating (they are still preparing) while economy rice is building long queue so long that might take another 10 to 15 minutes before I get to see the rice! I did line up for few seconds, change my mind seeing the convenient shop actually open. Rush into it and check for the bread expiry date and it's still one day lesser compared to the ones I saw yesterday. But, I need food so much where one day difference actually not a big deal as I will finish the bread as well before reaching the expiry date.

Long story cut short, actually what I want to tell from these is to not look at "what if" but be optimistic and look at the bright side. Bread not purchase yesterday is to give opportunity for those who really need long expiry date as they cannot finish a loaf of bread within 3/4 days like I do. Bread with short expiry date is still eatable as long as it's not expire.

Negative vibes will always come near you greeting hi and it's up to you to choose if it's better to be leave unattended. Cause life is all about choosing, different road might lead you to a different path/future. To be happy or being stress out is on your choice too. So why not choose something that make you happy instead of having a negative mindset and close up all the opportunity lay out.

Something I came in my phone gallery to constantly remind myself. I used to be not how I am today and I'm glad and blessed of the person surrounds me helping me grow and tolerate the worst of me. I'm a Buddhist not a religious ones but I'm glad to have him, he is the one who changed me in someway. But still individual determination must be strong to overcome all circumstances. Be tough people!

Two more paper to end my semester, may the remaining paper be good to me and ease my life, haha! Just kidding.

Hi 2016!

I guess I might use back the whole old way of titling my first post of each year and make it a tradition to say hi! Looking back on my first post on 2015 and found it amuse with my language and the photo itself. This year not too much of it. Another same old year with exams on beginning of the year, guess it's my last. Looking forward to what 2016 will bring me as this is the year where I officially graduate (end of the year) and maybe start exploring or having tough time finding a job, I'm not sure about it but it's going to be fun and an adventure journey to be discovered!

Gonna do a little recap on 2015 like what I did last year. Not really thinking of doing so this year but after watching David Choi 2015 recap on his Youtube, it totally inspired me on having my own ones as well. On a side note, I love listening to his English accent speaking, not so much on watching his video on music though, haha!

January
Starting a new year with exam and getting a better score! (squeezing into the dean list once again after so long) Mum brought me a car as I'm going for internship in February and I need transport, so I'm picking up my driving skill by practicing around near my house area :) Being alone at home means finding something to do, I cook and bake a lot this month!

February
Having a short semester break of 1 month. Being too bored at home and so I started searching job from the internet. Lastly I applied for a part time job for their Chinese New Year opening event and earn some pocket money, of course meeting different types of people. Started my internship on the 23 of February where I had only 4 days of Chinese New Year celebration. This Chinese New Year is so much family bonding time, we spent most of the time together and had some temple and food hoping session! Having cousin to come over to my house too :)

March
Friends came to Kuala Lumpur for their internship and so we actually spent time on weekend hang out, updating each other on things happening in our own respective company.
Meeting Jiuan and the cake I bought along the journey melt, anywhere we are lucky to pop in a new opening and cafe and get our beverage discount.
End of March, I actually went back to Penang for Cheng Meng, a very rush journey.

April
It's mum and dad birthday month! A usual cake and wine celebration.
Finally went to Sekinchan and viewed their beautiful scenery of paddy field and beach, sooner they become a tourist attraction spot. Their seafood is fresh and big, price is cheap too! Not sure about the pricing nowadays though.

May
Bought a lot books back from BookXcess using BB1M voucher, haven't finish reading all though. Shall find time to complete it, mainly fiction on romance, love, relationship and family.
Went to Bentong, Raub with mum colleague for a road trip. They rented a van and we came back with handful of local products!

June
Watched two movie continuously with my siblings for free! New opening cinema at Klang Parade.
Ending my internship in ALS this month and totally a new experience I gained! Thanks for the teaching to all the staff and learning partners, I finally get to apply it on my final year project, so much of easing me on doing experiment. Throw back to the first few days of having me joining this big group, breaking apparatus no one did, mixing chemicals and not remembering the test step to letting me to work on expensive machine, equipment, chemical and test alone, definitely a big leap! Kisses also to the friends I make and those who help me out, I had a lovely memory with you guys!

July
Definitely feel proud of myself on flying to Vietnam! I actually learn how to buy air ticket, book accommodation, trying public transport to KLIA, and to speak with stranger together with body language. I love what I'm exploring, a toast to this big step I made! (More to come) And yes, I finally get to wear the Vietnam shirt (a gift from Vietnam friend) on the land itself!
August
Continue my journey to Langkawi with my fellow coursemates. It's been great to have this bunch of mates having spontaneous plan and to relax throughout the whole trip, we don't make plans instead go along the flow? Oh, thanks also to Teacher Teressa for employing me to work at the kindergarten and much to letting me taking leave for my vacation! Kids are awesome, adorable and a little naughty but kids are to have fun while they are still young and innocent.
Went to Port Dickson as well during the national day with relatives, I learn that being a mum is tough, babies are cute but when they cry, they can be a monster.

September
The month that I had to head back Penang for studies. Had my celebration earlier with family and two more celebration back in Penang with friends :) Thanks for those who are still staying, I definitely appreciate our friendship. Went back home for braces and appointment and also my twins sibling birthday celebration! Both of them currently finishing their STPM and are heading to a real path soon. My brother definitely win the race by registering himself to architecture diploma course in Taylor's University for January 2016 intake, a toast for his stepping-out-of-comfort-zone move!

October
Went to Ipoh to meet up with my family, we spent some quality time exploring food and journey. Hotel is great, first time staying with siblings and her boyfriend, mum and dad totally don't want to interrupt.
I think I spent lots of time watching dramas this month an average of 3 days per drama, that's insane! And it's the month where I had my first part time in Penang on being an event crew.

November
Had my second part time job in Penang promoting solar panel. And head back home again for mid semester break. Busying finding suitable graduate gift to be giveaway for friends who graduate.
Came back to school to find out supervisor changed my final year project last minute. Okay Dr, you mean after hard work now you give me a new title and I left one week to prepare for my proposal presentation! Anyway, got to conquer this rough journey together with his coaching. This month is also the month where I spent the most money, buying flight ticket for two trips (with promotion price of course)! Guess where I'm heading? :P Ending this month with a trip to Penang hill early morning and see how the sky break free form the dark. Indeed very beautiful!

December
This semester ends really fast, I don't remember how I spent my time attending lectures. Having some photo snapping session with coursemates as this is already our final year.
I started my final year project too on raw material.
Anyway, end of this month is study week so I went home again to celebrate winter solstice and Christmas! Had a small gathering with cousin for a big Christmas meal without turkey but full with meats. It's good to seeing them :)
Posted a confession time post on my Facebook wall and received surprise message from long-time-no-contact friends, it's been 5 years! Love connecting with friends in the mean time shy to make the first move, so me.

On 2016, it's going to be a brand new me! Yes, I'm looking forward to graduate and starting a new journey ahead. Looking back at what I draft on top, the title supposingly should be "Bye 2015" but I shall just leave it as "Hi 2016". 2015 had been great to me, never realize I actually go through so much before these throwback session. I'm blessed with all the people that surrounds me, to had watch me and accompany me through my journey. I'm going to rock 2016 as how amazing my 2015 were!
