A day in the hospital

Being admitted into the hospital due to teeth extraction. Went to the day care center to register myself. After that, I was brought to the bed and handed cloth to change. For your imformation, you need to take off everything including earings, contact lens, bra, panties and etc as in fully naked but with the hospital cloth tied behind you.

Before the operation, they measured my weight and blood pressure. Oh not to miss out, blood are tested the day before. The nurse started to check on me with lots of questions and after that wait for your turn to be sent into the operation room.

I was the third (last) patient for the dental operation. Being a shy girl, I sit on the chair and started to flip on books (I don't like the bed, it makes me feel like I'm in serious sickness). The patient beside me is a Chinese girl which is so much friendly. We started with some introduction and small chat. She's younger than me and is currently working like a boss. The above photo was taken by her while I'm sleeping.

Waited for some time and the nurse walked me to the ward. Lying down on the bed and again the surgeon questioned me some technical question about health status and allergy related problem. Off I'm being sent to a room like what show in the movie with big light on top and machines surrounded. Needles poked into my hand and few things pasted on parts of my body. Inhaled in the sleeping gas and slept throughout the operation. Was poked in another hole due to allergy attack and fainted again.

Finally being pushed out from the operation room. Looked at the clock  and was shocked that I actually spent almost 3 hours in the ward. (Basically, dental operation take up to an hour only as it is a small surgery) Now I know, why people looked worriedly at me. Additional factor on worrying more people basically is about my swollen gum which causes me having the swollen face and what I utter barely being understand. Did I mention, I am actually extracting 8 tooth of mine. But, I later found out that the surgeon only extracted 7, I still feel one more wisdom tooth. Pray hard that I in no time not going to go through all this again, I don't want. *scream!*

A week after, visited the hospital again to remove the stitches at the gum. The doctor said my gum is still swollen and holes are still there. Might need to take extra care on the hygiene and wash regularly. It might take up a month for fully recovery. Anyhow, will need to start chewing on food.

P/s: Now I eat really slow as chewing takes time ><
