Family Trip: Penang

It was last month where my parents decided to come and visit me in Penang, whee! I desperately need an escape before exam starts and I'm really happy that they come all the way to the North.
So, here's the first stop having seafood as dinner by the seaside. And after that spend the whole night beside the beach watching sunset.

The next day, we wake up early to Chaw Choon, Raja Uda for dim sum breakfast. The food there is cheap, we have around 6 rounds of those food and it cost us only approximate 80 dollars.

And off we go travelling to the Penang island. We had our lunch here at Ang Hoay Lor, Jalan Perak recommended by my sister and her boyfriend. It's a small old restaurant with home style authentic feel. There's no catchy decoration nor beautiful dish set but the food is good. As it's a family business, the food is all served by elderly so you might need to spend some time waiting for the food to be served and place are very limited, they have only a few tables. Tips: Go early as soon as the restaurant open! We reach there before 12pm :)
This is our first dish, the bah kee soup. This are pork coated with flour and cooked in the soup along with some cabbage. The soup looks oily but it's definitely taste nice.
They called this tau kua suan na. The taufu is fried with prawns and lots of leeks. The taufu is fresh and it's different from the dry taufu we usually had. This dish is simple yet delicious.
This is the best among all other dishes. It's commonly known as oh chien or fried oyster omelette. The oyster is big and juicy, it perfectly blend into the corn starch and egg very well. This dish is different from the one you can get it elsewhere. The best oh chien I ever tasted.

We had our tea time at Mugshot cafe, Chulia Street. The cafe I wanted to visit for quite some time already. The decoration is nice but the stall is quite confusing as there's two more stall at the back and bakery at the side. Like other tourist, we ordered their bagel and yogurt as that's the signature of their shop. I was told that the bagels are freshly baked and the yogurt is a home-made once. We ordered the bagel muffin with cream cheese & smoked salmon while dad and mum ordered the bagel muffin with turkey ham and cranberry sauce. It was nice for me as I like both the cheese and salmon while mum's cranberry sauce matched perfectly with turkey ham which bring a little sweetness together with the bagel. We eventually wanted to order the walnut selection of yogurt but its sold out so we eventually go for the kiwi & honey. Will come again next time! The drink is good as compliment by my friend.

It's Penang, how can you miss out their hawker food! We randomly settled our dinner at the road side and my order of char kuay teow overall was just so so. It's quite sad to say that the char kuay teow in Penang is overrated as it always come with small portion and expensive price (almost all). Sigh

Jiuan, the she

Received a message from this long lost she. Yes, I do remember her phone number, she's using this number since we know each other. She is the girl I had known back in secondary school, very cute, pretty and kind. 8 years of friendship and still counting. She's one of my best friend where I don't want to lose.

We had not been seeing each other for almost two years. And after so long, we finally met for a random tea time. I'm glad that time doesn't flush away our friendship and we still have in common things to chat about. Pretty grateful to have her who came down to where I stay all the way from her house. We live pretty far where this explain why we meet up so seldom.

Photos taken and edited using vsco apps. It's an apps that change the entire photo look making your photo so much nicer compared to the original ones. Much more HD, quality of a DSLR camera we jokes.

A day in the hospital

Being admitted into the hospital due to teeth extraction. Went to the day care center to register myself. After that, I was brought to the bed and handed cloth to change. For your imformation, you need to take off everything including earings, contact lens, bra, panties and etc as in fully naked but with the hospital cloth tied behind you.

Before the operation, they measured my weight and blood pressure. Oh not to miss out, blood are tested the day before. The nurse started to check on me with lots of questions and after that wait for your turn to be sent into the operation room.

I was the third (last) patient for the dental operation. Being a shy girl, I sit on the chair and started to flip on books (I don't like the bed, it makes me feel like I'm in serious sickness). The patient beside me is a Chinese girl which is so much friendly. We started with some introduction and small chat. She's younger than me and is currently working like a boss. The above photo was taken by her while I'm sleeping.

Waited for some time and the nurse walked me to the ward. Lying down on the bed and again the surgeon questioned me some technical question about health status and allergy related problem. Off I'm being sent to a room like what show in the movie with big light on top and machines surrounded. Needles poked into my hand and few things pasted on parts of my body. Inhaled in the sleeping gas and slept throughout the operation. Was poked in another hole due to allergy attack and fainted again.

Finally being pushed out from the operation room. Looked at the clock  and was shocked that I actually spent almost 3 hours in the ward. (Basically, dental operation take up to an hour only as it is a small surgery) Now I know, why people looked worriedly at me. Additional factor on worrying more people basically is about my swollen gum which causes me having the swollen face and what I utter barely being understand. Did I mention, I am actually extracting 8 tooth of mine. But, I later found out that the surgeon only extracted 7, I still feel one more wisdom tooth. Pray hard that I in no time not going to go through all this again, I don't want. *scream!*

A week after, visited the hospital again to remove the stitches at the gum. The doctor said my gum is still swollen and holes are still there. Might need to take extra care on the hygiene and wash regularly. It might take up a month for fully recovery. Anyhow, will need to start chewing on food.

P/s: Now I eat really slow as chewing takes time ><

Shame on you

To you the renter,

Too much of childishness in you. You, as a grown up should have know what's yours need, your priority, the percentage on money used and earned. It's embarass to say that you are such a failure towards yourself, your parents, wife and children. It's all about attitude. If you want a better living, earn it and yes you can have the leisure and luxuries you want. But, if you failed and let it be, you will end up having nothing. People will tends to leave you one by one. Standing at the middle of the street, lift up your hand with the empty croacked cup and there you go begging for a living.

The only wish now is to please you to leave. Stop bothering us with your loads of problems. Everyone have their own problem to solve.
