Bentong → Raub

This trip is basically spending money to buy-local-stuff-food trip. Travel there by van from Klang and the journey took around 3 hours.

Our first station is the morning market at Bentong. Indeed is an eye opener! They sell fish alive in a pond and chicken too alive in the cage for most of the stall. I wonder how they going to sell it? Kill it on the spot or selling the alive ones to the customer and how did the customer slaughter it? Something to ponder, hmm.. The vegetable and fruit is fresh, big and cheap. Okay, I'm currently stepping into those aunty life loving to shop the hypermarket and supermarket compared to the fashion store.

After that, we continue our journey to the nuts factory. Book a time and date with the boss and he will bring you around his small processing factory while explaining the process of making.

We bump into stall which sell unripe banana and papaya, very pretty fruits and reasonable price.

We bought a ripe yellow banana and an unripe red banana out of curiosity. Will see how it taste *waiting for it to ripe*

We had our lunch at Teng Yu Keong. The food there is delicious! We dig on the food once is being served and we totally forgot to take photo of the food. So there's no photo for food. We ordered basically all their dishes which include pork (cha siew), duck meat, tao pok, tauhu, and herbal soup. Our bill is around RM170 for 12 person. Below is their name card if you are interested.

Our last station before we head back to Selangor, Kow Po, the homemade ice cream. It was special because it's homemade and the texture is definitely different from the normal ones we eat. It's more gelling compare to the normal ones which is more ice like. It's more viscosity which cause a lower melting rate. One scoop cost you RM3 which is kind of expensive but worth a try.

Sekinchan Part II

To continue from the previous post, this is a few view from Pantai Redang, Sekinchan. 

First to the famous wishing tree where people will get the red ribbon from the temple beside, make a wish and throw it to the top. The higher the ribbon hang, the higher the percentage of wish-come-true. People tends to be greedy and aim for the highest so you will get to see some ribbon hanging on another tree at the side or even on the electric cable, haha!

There's a few swing hanging down from the tree. They are all in the theme "Recycle". Swing made from spoil plastic chair or the lazy recliner foldable chair. There's also few fishing net hammock swing bed too. I lay on it for some time, so relaxing. If there's not so many people then I shall not just got up from it :P

There's also a small recycle garden there. Every bench with chinese writing whether a wish or a description. All with colorful painting to cheer up the environment, and so much like a children mini playground.

Lastly, the beach. The blue sky and the blue sea, what a beautiful combination.

A small accident happened. She being curious, walk a bit by bit and step into the soaking sand, then later sink into it. So worry that she might lost her slipper cause it's sinking into it and she hardly pull it out. After a few minutes of struggling, she's finally up and heading to the toilet to wash away the mud. We laugh all the way to the toilet. Passing by some of the hawkers, and they too laugh and direct us to the toilet. I guess they haven't been seeing this happening.
