Because we are future food technologist

Here's my fellow coursemates, we been studying together for five semester and in the six semester we are located by our professor to different location for internship. We're going to step into the adult world and to really experience what food technologist are doing, get hands on and handle stuff.

I love them pretty much you know. As you can see from the picture, we contain of Chinese, Malay and Indian but still united we are. We tolerate and work together; we greet and communicate with each other. Picture taken after the last paper, the priceless smile. See you guys after 8 months!

After the last paper, we had our usual routine of play hard and spent money like there's no tomorrow. Time for self treat after hectic exam, relax kay. We went to Gala house for dinner, the portion is a little small for me but nevertheless the food is good so do the environment. It's like fine dining so the price is slightly higher but you can dine in during lunch as they serve set lunch with lower price and it's reasonable. Not to mention, the stuff is friendly. Here's a photo of us before the food is being served. I purposely make the photo blurred because the photo resolution is too low.

The next round will be a walk at the Karpal Singh Drive. Nothing interesting here but because of this four poles with blue lighting it starts to attract people to come. We came here for a walk and sea breeze. Of course crap too. You never fail to find us as we are always the noisiest group whenever we go, the noise can be heard from a distance hence sometimes it actually disturb the people around us. We always wanted to act like we are still the energetic teenagers, no one wants to admit that we actually aging.

There's few cafe there and we decided to walk in Coffea Coffee. The cafe is rich with aroma of coffee bean. And most importantly it's open till 1am. No one wants to leave early, we are actually the few batches of people who leave last. Non stop of chatting and laughter till midnight as the phrase goes the night is still young. I'm too tired to admit I'm actually old already as for the third round in mamak I slept half the session. Note that I actually drank a cup of espresso in Coffea Coffee but it doesn't help me to stay awake. Finally reached my hostel by 3am.

Some are coming to KL for internship. Hope we get to meet by then, at least one day trip around KL for awesome stuff, good food and of course chit-chat. Booked a flight to Langkawi with them in August as Airasia is having great promotion which cost me only RM38 for a to and fro ticket. I wish to buy another flight ticket to any place you can name it but I badly need a partner in crime, anyone? Holiday can be really boring when you suddenly have nothing to do. I actually started cooking and baking a lot but still there's plenty of time for me. Perhaps I need to work but where? Arghh.

Bad driver

It's holiday! But still waking up early as I have another side job at home which is being a driver. Had been a long time since I last drove. I don't like driving for some reason which god knows what is it. But now I need to be driving as much as I possibly could. I'm having internship next month in Shah Alam, it can be a far journey. No, I still haven't figure out the way to my company *smack head* It can be complicated and most importantly jam. My house address written Shah Alam but all the while I had been naming myself a Klang people. You will understand the intermediate struggle when you are in the middle when both parties doesn't recognize you.
I had been driving all the while in my housing area as I can have everything I need here which doesn't require me to go out far. Starbucks for gathering, hawker stall for meal, park for a walk, Tesco as grocery for goods, and shopping mall for more shopping. Everything is within distance. And especially friends who tolerate and drive me out, I'm happily a passenger.

I'll possibly scream or being extremely silent if you are driving too dangerous. I have one friend who drive dangerously. She will possibly get lots of horns even if it's just a short distance. Somehow we actually avoid sitting her car because it freak us out. I love safe driver, people who drive safely.

Some say I have drivphobia. Perhaps I do? I'm really particular to people's driving behavior. I discipline myself for not making error. Driving is scary, it may leads to accident and even death. You don't want to die in this early age or to cause others to get into accident due to your mistake. Been practicing driving recently to brush up all those rusty skill by means a lot of drop off and pick up accompany by daddy.

This morning, after sending daddy to his office I came back to fetch my sister. Things starts trembling here. I wasn't clear about the location of her company and actually overshoot missing the turning but luckily there's always GPS to save us now. So, I drove a little further for another alternative road. Not to say I'm a city girl, but this is my first time seeing so many foreigner in bike driving on the road. It's a factory area allegedly my sister is pursuing her studies in engineering. Hundreds of bicycles to avoid, looking to the left so much worrying and wondering how if I accidentally bang into them. My estimation skill is bad, I always wonder if I give enough space to the left whereby there's actually bunch of motorcycles and bicycles on the right lane too, not to left out the pedestrian. Too much live to worry while trying to figure out where is her company. Sort of clumsily turning in and out again. Thanks god, we reached safely.

Note that I'm a safe driver just that I'm not good enough. They say practice makes perfect. I know I will be good the next time.

Probably last

Introduce you my hostel friends. Each of us come from different places, graduated from different high school, taking different courses, having different behavior, and we are staying at different floor. Still remember how we shouted at each other through different floor, some of us stay at the fourth floor while others stay at the fifth floor, our cubicle is just opposite each other hence this ease the message passing.

Leaving home for study in definitely tough, you have to be independent in all way from learning how to wash clothes to no longer having home-cooked food to eat. You no longer be with your old friends, you got to step out and make new friends. Especially during festival days (mooncake festival, winter solstice, christmas, etc.), be surrounded by people to keep you feel warm. So they are the one I'm with surviving the orientation together.

As time passed we started joining society and association, having different activities and events, having assignment and test with different due dates, getting to know more friends which slowly tear us apart. Anyway, we still have our usual gathering once a semester :) Our gathering for the fifth semester before school ends in the mid of finals.

Our friendship is stepping into the third year and somehow it's going to end halfway. Some of us will be having internship in this coming semester while some is having their last semester as a final students. So I guess I shall dig out some of our past photo for some memories (stole photo from facebook and note that I had forgotten how these photo are being taken) :P But those photo are definitely the young us, you will see how much we change (probably photo of us in our first year).

Morganfield @ Queensbay Mall

It's going to be a lot of delayed post as my finals just finished and there's few events and plans happen in between my examination period.

Here is one of them, my first big meal in 2015, Morganfield. We happened to bump into groupon and saw this promotion. The price reduce to almost half and it's around RM30 when divided among a few of my friends. Book this meal right after our second paper so that we get to enjoy a day before digging into books again for another paper which is 10 days after.

This set meal consist of three ribs with different flavors, corns, long foot sausages, fries, salad and cupcakes. The ribs is juicy and tender, so soft that doesn't require much biting. This set definitely worth trying.

Before dining, let us have a photo with the food first! Not to say the background is really nice.

The two guys which doesn't want to pose so here's a random shot of them with the food. The food looks good here :9

His usual photo bomb before group photo.

Tadaa, the group photo!

We actually when for second round till midnight.
And after that I headed back for another talk with my another bunch of friends till 5 in the morning. Another record break. Waking up at 1pm the other day and still feeling exhausted.

Ichiban Boshi @ Setia City Mall

Yeah, I return! Will not be going back that soon as I'll be having my internship here in Shah Alam.

Came to realize my mum actually love this restaurant and is a regular customer (sort of) which I assumed expensive during my first visit with my friends. She claimed that the food is good and fast here. I think that's the most important key word FAST! She does everything in speed, you better not interrupt her halfway. And an addition to this restaurant is the service, it's good, workers are friendly too.

Now that they have the reward card system which every RM30 you spent won yourself a stamp. By collecting those stamp, you get to redeem free side dishes. And by finishing all the stamps in the box which is a 3X4 grid, you won yourself a lucky spin for a RM120 voucher. Below is the free pea we got, yea! And we got another california roll and tofu today :)

Hi 2015 !

Hi hi!

Found out that I'm back to in love with blogging, maybe not too much on photo but typing. Although I know I have limited words nor language to express myself but I always love coming back here, My personal space for my story.

Yea, it's already the second day of 2015 and my first paper on finals. It's like finally my turn to sit on the exam hall after seeing people almost finishing their exam. Nevermind, I have more days to study! Anyway, my first paper wasn't a good starts :( Wanted to score full but ended up making silly mistake that affects the whole answer. It's calculation, so the number bring forward from the very beginning. Tougher papers coming, going to conquer it as much as I can since I have few more activities in the middle of exam.

How you spent your last day of 2014?
I didn't manage to go for countdown this year. Just purely some girls talk at our school stadium. Wanted to lie down on the tract and watch stars (Imagination can sometimes go wild) but it doesn't goes as plan. Stadium was crowded with students from all where who knows with torchlight, food, drink, beer, music, noise, etc. Three of us definitely look weird there. We bought nothing, never we realized the crowd nor the needs of bringing something. What worst is looking up at the sky and see no star and even the moon is hiding behind the cloud. Pathetic isn't it?

Wanted to do some recap for 2014 but for being a Malaysia university student I often look days by semester base. First semester starts on September and ends at January while second semester starts on March and ends at July. I was in my second year early of 2014 and I turn to a third year student starting September of 2014. Having difficulty in balancing days pass or I should say recalling my second year? I'm confused by my ownself *bang wall* My friend used to tease me on hiring a secretary, I think I need it. Flipping on the photo and I think I can tell story from it.

2014 is a year where I change gradually. Looking back at the resolution I set last year, I might or might not achieve it. Determination is require. Here are a few things I remembered:
1. Had my braces on (still lots didn't notice that)
2. Manage to catch up with my old friend (it's been so long since years ago)
3. Lost a friend too (and I learn to become independent)
4. Starts watching youtube (loving those english accent speaking)
5. Swimming (like finally!)
6. Become a manger in AIESEC and leave AIESEC after a year (time for new leader)
7. Went for a trip with coursemates (wonder when is our next trip?)
8. Attending conference (indeed eye opener)
9. Join 101 hair care (hair loss problem worsen, anyway the treatment damn expensive larh k)
10. Explore Georgetown (yes, I study in Penang but..)
11. Starts baking and cooking (I have my victims, hiak hiak)
12. Part time teacher?
That's all I guess.

Dull isn't it? Will add more colors in 2015 kay kay *pinky promise*
