Being Independent

It wasn't that hard as I thought. What had I did ? Just a little break through for the second semester, I went back to Penang alone from Klang. Had been always relying on my friends all the while in the first semester. I don't know how to buy myself a bus ticket from the bus station; Never sat alone on the bus for so long; Don't know how and where to approach a cab so that he can send me back to my hostel. So now, I learn it all by myself, a big step towards i-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t :) Thanks for the encouragement from my roommate.

It didn't flow smoothly according to the "MY" plan. Went to the bus station and bought the ticket for 42 bucks, the ticket should cost for only 40 bucks. So, this Indian guy brought me to the counter once I reached the top floor and he settled a deal for me without my permission and here comes the ticket, was totally blur that time. And for today morning, the bus wasn't punctual :( Waited for more than half an hour and the bus finally parked but at the wrong platform. This was really confusing you know, as the bus came at the wrong time, wrong platform and place the wrong plat, everything was so wrong. This terrified me a lot. Do plan not to come back already. Luckily after all, everything went back to its own lane and run smoothly. Asked someone for the cab service and got a Chinese uncle who drove, the price was reasonable. And finally acted like a pro, got back the room key and headed to my room.

Its approximately 540 delegates from everywhere including Thailand, Philippines, Egypt, Hong Kong and etc. This conference goes on for 6 to 7 days. It did really give me the best experience in my past 20 years. The awesomeness I had its this much. Gain a lot of knowledge, train up some leadership skill, started to communicate with people, generate idea to work on case challenge, met big bosses, and lots more. This conference going to be my start point throughout the AIESEC journey. Never I thought AIESEC can bring me that much.
